Facial Reflexology

I am delighted to now be offering “Bergman Method Facial Reflexology” alongside foot reflexology. This is taught exclusively at the London School of Reflexology by the creator Ziggie Bergman.

Facial Reflexology is based on the same theory as traditional hand and foot reflexology but with the focus on the pressure points located on the face. The face’s proximity to the brain and cranial nerves makes facial reflexology remarkably powerful.

As well as the considerable benefits of foot reflexology, including deep relaxation and balancing of the body, facial reflexology can also provide you with a healthy glow which can help you to look better and younger. The face will look and feel smoother and more toned as circulation is improved and muscle tension is reduced. Some call it a ‘mini Face-lift’ as a series of facial reflexology sessions can help to strengthen layers of the skin tissue and improve skin tone, leading to benefits such as tightening of sagging eyelids, smoothing and softening of frown lines and generally diminishing the effects of ageing.

However, facial reflexology doesn’t just focus on the outer layers, it also helps to create a feeling of wellbeing on the inside. The body is encouraged to eliminate toxins, and return to a state of relaxation and balance.

  • Benefits of Facial Reflexology?

Facial reflexology has key benefits, some over and above those of foot reflexology. The benefits of facial reflexology include:

    • Aiming to relieve the effects of stress and bring about a general feeling of calmness and relaxation.
    • Helping to relieve sinusitis/congestion and improve the symptoms of tinnitus.
    • Improving lymphatic drainage aiding the removal of waste products and toxins, which helps to leave the face glowing and radiant.
    • Relieving tension in the muscle tissue.
    • May relieve symptoms caused by neurological or nervous system disorder.
  • Facial Reflexology session

A facial reflexology session starts in the same way as a foot reflexology session, with a case history being taken. I will then discuss with you your aims for the session, before reclining you in the lafuma chair. I will gently cleanse your face before applying facial oil and starting to work gently over your reflex points.

Session prices are the same as that for foot reflexology with a 60 minute session costing £40.

A session can also be split with some focus on the feet and some on the face.

Please contact me if you’d like further information or would like to book a session.
